Job Description: Light Truck Drivers drive trucks having less than three tons capacity. Light Truck Drivers normally transport products and materials to and from destinations within a local area such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, train stations, airports, residences, office buildings, and retail stores. They prepare receipts, collect payments, and may load and unload the truck. They may drive a prescribed route in the area. Products delivered may vary from general parcels, household goods, magazines, medical supplies, bakery products to oxygen tanks, meat and poultry, groceries, seeds, plumbing supplies, and auto parts.
