Job Description: Janitors and Cleaners maintain the cleanliness of office buildings, schools, hotels, factories, retail and wholesale establishments, hospitals, and other types of facilities. Janitors and Cleaners sweep, wash, and wax floors, dust and polish furniture, clean and restock restrooms, collect and dispose of trash, clean and wash walls and ceilings, change lights and handle many other maintenance tasks. They may also make minor repairs, paint, perform carpentry tasks, clean machinery, tend furnaces and air conditioning and heating systems, and set up furniture in meeting rooms.
