How To Find A Job -- Research The Employer

Research The Employer

Why is it important that you have information about an employer? The information that you gather about a company will come in handy when you go for your interview. The more you know, the better you will look to the employer.

For each company, try to locate the following information:
  • Services and/or products the company provides or produces
  • Age of the company and how it is growing
  • Articles about the company in magazines, newspapers, or on the Internet
  • Company location and size
  • What the career opportunities are for this job
