Job Description:   Receptionists and Information Clerks provide personalized service to the public such as giving information over the telephone, by computer or by personal contact. Receptionists and Information Clerks may work as guides or security escorts, direct telephone calls, give information about company products and services, schedule appointments, obtain information about patients and clients, and serve as cashiers. They are found throughout the financial and services industries as well as in wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing, and government.

Basic Job Requirements:

  1. High school graduate
  2. Good typing skills
  3. Ability to use office machines, such as calculators, copiers, word processors and personal computers
  4. Clerical skills
  5. Ability to get along with co-workers and the public
  6. Good personal grooming
  7. Clear speaking voice
